Arrive at Cochin International Airport or Railway Station, where your representative and chauffeur will welcome you. Begin your scenic ascent into the Western Ghats toward Munnar, passing coastal plains that give way to misty, winding hill roads. En route, make photo stops at the cascading Cheeyappara and Valara waterfalls, surrounded by dense greenery. As you climb higher, enjoy the cool breeze and rolling carpets of tea estates. Day 02 | Full-Day Munnar Sightseeing & Highland Discovery
After a hearty breakfast, set out to explore Munnar's iconic natural and colonial attractions. Start with a morning excursion to Eravikulam National Park (Rajamalai), riding the forest shuttle to view high-altitude shola grasslands and spot the endangered Nilgiri Tahr against the backdrop of Anamudi peak. Next, visit the KDHP Tea Museum to see antique processing machinery and learn the century-old art of tea manufacturing. Day 03 | Munnar to Thekkady via Cardamom Hills (Approx. 90 km / 3 hrs)
Enjoy breakfast, check out, and take a scenic mountain drive south toward Thekkady (Periyar), traveling along the lush slopes of the Cardamom Hills. Check into your hotel upon arrival and take time to refresh. In the afternoon, head out for a guided walking tour through a local spice plantation to see growing cardamom, pepper vines, cinnamon, clove, and vanilla. Later, you can opt for a peaceful boat ride on Periyar Lake inside the Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary or attend evening cultural performances of Kathakali dance and Kalaripayattu martial arts. Day 04 | Thekkady to Cochin Departure (Approx. 160 km / 4.5–5 hrs)
Savor a relaxed morning breakfast overlooking the mist-covered spice forests. Complete your check-out and begin your return drive descending the ghats toward Cochin. Depending on your flight or train schedule, stop to pick up freshly harvested spices, aromatic oils, or Kerala banana chips.
